Battle of the Bulge Shoot

The backstory on this event is described by Mark Irving, "The Battle of the Bulge gathering was the result of a thing I did on December 16th. I would park at the gate and walk into the rifle range. I would fire a full magazine in honor of the men of the battle, but also in honor of all men and women who have taken that oath to protect this country. I found out a fellow shooter from Virginia had a friend who was there at the Battle of the Bulge but had passed a few years back and this friend was doing the same thing on Dec 16th to honor his friend. I invited him to join me here and this event just grew from there.  We send some rounds downrange, we honor those who protect our right to do that. We get a somber reminder of the harsh conditions that US forces have endured throughout our history. We eat, laugh and hope for another day."
