Eagle Eye Junior Rifle Team

The Eagle Eye Junior Rifle Team normally uses the indoor range to shoot from December to April.  Shooting starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 8:30 pm on Tuesday evenings at the Itasca Gun Club. Young shooters between the ages of 11 – 18 may sign up if they can demonstrate safe rifle handling. Both females and males, non-club members and club members may sign up to join the Eagle Eye Team. The shooting program runs until April 2014. Sign up for the team is in December, and equipment will be assigned then.  All equipment is provided and shooting is from four positions.

All shooting is supervised by an adult Range Safety Officer.  Parents are welcome to come and watch, as the indoor range includes an observation room, where you can watch the shooting from behind glass, so you don't need hearing protection when .22's are being fired.

The 2014-2015 Eagle Eye Junior Rifle Team will begin on Dec 2nd at 6:30PM.   It is open to all youth 11-18 years of age.  It runs until April 14th 2015.  All equipment is supplied.  The first night is sign up and equipment assignment.  Parents and guardians will be required to store and bring assigned rifle and equipment to each session.  There may be some travel to competitions if available.  This is a precision NRA 4 position training.  Safety is foremost, students will learn proper positions, breathing, sight alignment, trigger control.  Awards are presented as they advance in ability.  Hope to see you there.
