Course of Fire : Service Rifle Match: 50 shots for record/ 20 Slow Prone/10 Rapid Prone/10 Rapid Sitting or Kneeling/10 Standing/ 5 sighters allowed in Slow Prone
Slow Prone and Slow Standing is a single load only stage.
Mandatory Stripper Clip/Magazine/Enbloc change in the Rapid fire positions.
Targets : SR-1 Target @ 100 yards which is a 200 yard reduced target for a 100 yard range
Course of Fire for the 100 Year Old Rifle: 10 rounds, Iron Sights, Target SR-C @ 200 yards
5 rounds any position including Sticks or Bench rest/ 5 shots Standingunsupported/no sling
Compete with your own 100 year old rifle and supply your own ammunition.
Rifles can't be replicas - Rifles need to have been manufactured 100 years ago or more
Distance: 200 yards. Shooting at a SR-C Repair center.
Target size 24"X24" w/13" Black 9,10 and X are in Black
White rings...8 ring and most of the 7 ring
NRA Target's: $5.00 for Match Targets SR-1 /SR-1C 's
$1.00 for the SR-C Target 100 Year old Rifle Match
Rifles: Service Rifles Foreign and United States with Iron Sights or up to 4.5 X fixed scope.
EX: Foreign: SKS, AK-47, AK-74, .303 British Enfield, Any Mauser, Finnish and Swedish Rifles, Jap Rifles, Russian and Chinese Mosin Nagants, Mini 14, M-14, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, AR15 etc.
Dust off some of these rifles and come on out.
Spotting Scopes Allowed
NOTE : Itasca Gun Club has Shooting Mats, Spotting Scopes and a Few M1 Garand's and M1 Carbines for Members of Itasca Gun Club to use. ******Please have your Current Itasca Gun Club Membership Card with you if you will be using one of the available Itasca Gun Club M1 Garand's or M1 Carbines during the Match.****** It will help if you are experienced in the handling of these two rifles*******.
Ammo: Bring your own ammo or the Itasca Gun Club will have 30-06 HXP $40.00/55 rounds and .30 Carbine $22.00/55 rounds.
Note: ***Range is closed to the open shooting Match Day from 2:00 PM till Sunset***
