Outdoor Pistol Range Closed for Introduction to Itasca Action Pistol 4:30 PM Until Dark. Event begins at 6 PM.

The outdoor range is closed this Thursday for an introductory event for people who are new to Action Pistol, beginning at 6 PM.  The closure begins at 4:30 PM, when setup for Action Pistol begins.

Action Pistol is a fun, weekly event open to all.  The cost is $5.00 per night.  The details are in the links above, and those details include everything you need to bring, and slide shows so you can get a feel for the weekly events.

This is a good way to challenge yourself to learn how to shoot better, handle your firearm more safely and improve your overall skills. Certified Range Safety Officers are on site, and they run the event.

You can choose to be as competitive as you want.  Or take it easy and learn to draw and shoot well before increasing your speed.  Weekly scores get sent out to all participants.
