Here is a little History on the Mini-Palma Matches and course of fire for the day.
Palma Competition Matches began in 1876 and Included Prone Shooting out to 1000 yards. It has always been an International Sport, with National Teams shooting around the world for a Perpetual Trophy. The Matches stopped at the outbreak of WW2 and didn't begin again until Canada revived them 1966.
Mini-Palma Matches were created by the NRA to simulate shooting Palma with Smallbore (.22 rimfire) rifles at 100 yards

Brand New and Exciting....**Bench Rest Match has been Added**
The Traditional 100 Yard Prone Position Match will run alongside the **Newly added 100 Yard Bench Rest Match.
Time: Outdoor Rifle Range closed from 11AM to 5:30PM for the Mini-Palma Matches.
MATCH #1 Starts @ 12:00 PM ..Sharp, have your rifle ready
MATCH #2 Starts @ 3:00 pm... Sharp, have your rifle ready
YOU ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE IN BOTH MATCHES OR JUST ONE....
Bench Rest Match: Sand bags are allowed for the fore end of rifle/No Lead Sleds please.
Iron sights only. 4.5 X power rifle scope allowed in special cases only.
Cost: $5.00 for One or Both Matches.
Course of Fire Same for Prone and Bench Rest
Targets supplied are the LR-S International Mini-Palma Targets (See Attachment Below)
Unlimited sighters and 10 shots for record on the 800 yard Bull.
2 sighters and 10 shots for record on the 900 yard Bull.
2 sighters and 10 shots for record on the 1000 yard Bull.
Ammo: Total 30 rounds for Record PLUS your sighting rounds.

- Rimfire Rifle in .22 caliber
- Ammo
- Spotting Scope
- Sand Bags (Bench Rest) Itasca Gun Club has bags if you do not have any.
800 yard Bull 5.8"...6 ring black
900 yard Bull 5.1"...6 ring black
1000 yard Bull 4.6"...6 ring black

- Shooting Mat (A carpet remnant or camping pad works)

- Sling (Strongly recommended)

- Shooting Glove (A work glove is better than none)
