.22 Rimfire Matches - Mini Palma. Rifle Range closed 11:00 AM until dusk. Match 1 at 3:00 PM, Match 2 at 5:30 PM

Itasca Gun Club is now running Mini Palma Matches.

I WILL RUN TWO MATCH TIMES. MATCH #1 @ 1:00 PM AND THE 2nd MATCH TIME @ 3:30pm.  YOU ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE IN BOTH MATCHES OR JUST ONE. COME ON OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN!!

Rules

100 Yard Prone Position shooting at reduced targets to simulate 800-900-1000 yards.  Rifles are limited to .22 rimfire caliber due to the size of the scoring rings.

Sorry no scopes (just spotting scopes)….Iron Sights Only...

We have added the option to the Mini Palma Match of Benchrest. As Benchrest is not an official position for Palma, but it gives everyone another

opportunity to shoot 800-900-1000 yards..   

Benchrest Rules:

A front Support is allowed, bags or rest.  No Lead Sleds. No rear bags. All other Prone rules apply.

Course of Fire

Richard Karpik will be Following NRA Small Bore guidelines.

Targets supplied are the LR-S International Mini-Palma Targets.

Unlimited sighters and 10 shots for record ….800 yards.
2 sighters and 10 shots for record ….900 yards.
2  sighters and 10 shots for record...1000 yd.

Total 30 rounds for record plus your sighter rounds.

Required Equipment

• Rimfire Rifle in .22 caliber
• Ammo
• Shooting Mat (A carpet remnant or camping pad works)

Optional Equipment

• Sling (Strongly recommended)
• Spotting Scope (Strongly recommended)
• Shooting Coat (Recommended)
• Shooting Glove (A work glove is better than none)

Cost $5.00 Flat Fee for 1 Match or Both Matches
